PART 1

Most of you know that the CrossFit Games Open is taking place and we have several people at TCF participating, below is a brief description of the Games and some of the competitors in no particular order.

The CrossFit Games Open Qualifiers is a 6 week, worldwide competition in the sport of fitness. The Open is the first step in the CrossFit Games season and takes place from March 15 until April 24. There is 1 workout per week for 6 weeks and athletes compete to qualify for the CrossFit Games.

The workouts are varied and no one knows what they will be until they’re announced. The workout for the week will be announced each Tuesday, and all competitors have until the following Sunday to perform the workout and enter their results online.

The top 60 men, 60 women, and 30 teams from each region during the Open will qualify to compete at their Regional competition. Our Regional’s will be held June 3rd & 4th in San Jose.

You can follow your fellow TCFers on the Leaderboard here: http://games.crossfit.com/ and view all the WOD’s that have been completed.

We are so proud of all who are competing and amazed at your strength and drive, keep it up!!
