Here it is, the time of the year when we feel we need to make improvements, quit something, start something, do something better…What ever it is you are thinking of “resolving” set yourself up for success!  Here are some helpful hints to make your New Years Resolution a success:

  • Use your workout journal to track your progress and work every day towards your goal. Create a separate page that is goal specific and record daily the steps you have taken to get closer to your goal.
  • Tell a friend/family member/coach what your goal is so they can help you to stay on track.
  • Be realistic with your goals and allow time for improvement, ie: “by the end of the week I will get a muscle up” perhaps 3 months is a better time frame for this goal.
  • Remember, the coaches are here for you, need help with your hand stand push up or getting your eating back on track, just ask for it!
